I’m Miette. I’m a writer, director, and editor based in Los Angeles.

My work spans a broad variety of genres and styles, from narrative fiction to video essays to social media promos. My new short film morningshed (2026), a feminist body horror film, is an official selection of Crypticon Seattle Horror Film Festival.

My short film Yellow Brocade (2022) was an official selection at the 1st annual Poulsbo Film Festival 2022, and my short film Between Moments (2020) screened at the 23rd Annual Local Sightings Film Festival.

When I’m not working, you can find me watching weird horror movies, obsessing over Twin Peaks, and baking vegan goodies.
